Thankyou to all that came to our February meeting at the Rose Room of the Bradshaw Senior Complex in Prescott, Arizona. Meetings are the second tuesday of each month and are held from 12:00 to 2PM. Kim McElroy, from Broken Horn D Ranch was the group's speaker. We learned so much about the benefits of eating their grass fed beef. The cattle is known as Criollo Beef (kree-o-yo) and this cattle is of Spanish origin, specially adapted to hot, arid climates. It is lower in fat and cholesterol and high in Omega 3's. When we learned how, when & why this beef is better than mass-marketed store products, It makes sense why it is a little pricier.
